Social Caseworker
Adams County is seeking a dedicated Social Caseworker to join our team. This position offers hybrid-remote working arrangements and flexible scheduling options after an initial training period of 90 days. The role involves both assessment and permanency duties, including responding to allegations of abuse and neglect, conducting assessments, preparing court reports, and providing case-specific documentation.
The hiring range for this position is $64,277.61 - $72,930.36 annually. Adams County provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and retirement plans, as well as wellness programs and flexible work schedules.
To succeed in this role, candidates should have knowledge of child welfare, the ability to demonstrate empathy and a strength-based trauma-informed approach, and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships. A bachelor's degree in a human behavioral science field is required, along with Colorado Child Welfare Caseworker certification. Additional qualifications include the ability to pass a criminal background check and possess a valid driver's license and proof of automotive insurance.
