We are currently looking to fill the position of Warehouse Manager to handle daily operations of the warehouse, including freight, shipping and receiving, returns and transfers. The successful applicant will maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations, lead and develop the warehouse team and provide impeccable customer service to our clients. If you have the knowledge and expertise in the distribution, shipping and logistics industry, we invite you to apply today.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesControl and manage warehouse inventory for specific major retailersOversee profitability and financial responsibility for account operationMaintain daily interaction with high level representatives from retail clientsSupervise warehouse employees and oversee daily operationsManage general maintenance of facility and equipment used in the warehouseEnforce all company rules and regulationsEnsure a high degree of detail and focus on every jobCommunicate with other departments to ensure efficient delivery of productsManage customer service requests promptly and resolve issues quicklyEnforce high safety standards and drive improved efficiencyExperience/Skills RequirementsProven ability to lead and develop a team of 20+ direct and indirect reportsRelates well to a broad range of people, builds rapport well, builds constructive and effective relationships. Calm under pressure and can defuse high-tension situations comfortably and easily.5+ years' experience in a warehouse supervisory roleProven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures including best practices, OSHA regulations, safety, etc.Excellent problem-solving skillsImpeccable written, verbal, and group presentation skills required. Ability to set clear directions and provide information so that others can make accurate decisionsAbility to work with all levels of staffProficient with warehouse management systems, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office programs - Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, vlookup, etc.), Outlook, Microsoft Teams, etc.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma/GED required.
