Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite in the patient’s home, where you will engage directly with patients in their own environments. You will assess clients in familiar settings, which can often lead to enhanced therapeutic outcomes. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts available either from 8 AM to 4 PM, 9 AM to 5 PM, or as four 10-hour shifts, providing flexibility for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to identify movement impairments and functional limitations.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans that focus on specific patient goals, employing treatment modalities such as therapeutic exercises, modalities, and education.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize patient rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Provide patient and caregiver education on therapeutic exercises and recovery strategies, ensuring understanding and compliance.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records, adhering to legal and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with diverse patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions, across various age groups. This role requires a compassionate approach, as you will be facilitating recovery in environments where patients feel most comfortable and supported. Tailoring your interventions to meet each patient's unique lifestyle and challenges is crucial to fostering recovery and enhancing their functional capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid Florida Physical Therapy License or eligibility to obtain.
• Deep understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and the principles of therapeutic exercise.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and fellow healthcare providers.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in outpatient or home care settings.
• Experience working with geriatric populations or patients with chronic illnesses is a plus.
• Specialized training in therapeutic modalities or functional rehabilitation programs is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year , depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
