The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and/or commercial real estate transactions and will oversee all aspects of the closing process, from contract review through post-closing matters. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong client service skills, and the ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing. Review purchase and sale agreements and provide legal guidance regarding contract terms and compliance. Examine title commitments, surveys, and related documents to identify and resolve title issues. Draft and review deeds, settlement statements, affidavits, loan documents, easements, and other closing documents. Conduct real estate closings and ensure transactions are completed accurately and efficiently. Advise buyers, sellers, lenders, developers, and real estate professionals on legal issues related to property transactions. Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, title companies, surveyors, and other parties to facilitate timely closings. Resolve title defects and other issues that may delay or impact closing. Ensure compliance with North Carolina real estate laws, ethical standards, and lender requirements. Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and exceptional service. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in North Carolina, in good standing. Minimum of two (2) years of experience handling real estate transactions and closings. Demonstrated experience with contract review and legal analysis, drafting real estate and closing documents, title examination and title issue resolution, and conducting residential and/or commercial real estate closings Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and real estate closing software. Interested in hearing more?
