Our organization is representing a healthcare facility in North Dakota that is in need of locum tenens coverage for Interventional Cardiology.
- The provider is expected to commit to 10 days each month starting in January .
- There is a strong preference for two 5-day periods each month , each including a weekend; however, one continuous 10-day period covering two weekends may also be acceptable.
- Transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) proficiency is mandatory .
- The candidate must have at least one year of independent practice following fellowship training .
Coverage Responsibilities
- During weekdays, the provider will manage the inpatient cardiology service in collaboration with an inpatient Advanced Practice Clinician (APC).
- For weeknight on-call duties (Monday to Friday), responsibilities include handling urgent inpatient catheterizations, temporary pacemaker placements, STEMI cases, stat echocardiograms, and electrophysiology (EP) calls.
- On weekends, the provider will oversee the General and EP Cardiology hospital service , which encompasses inpatient catheterizations, STEMIs, and stat echocardiograms.
- Electrophysiology coverage is part of this role , assisting with urgent inpatient cases and consultations during weekends and weeknights, while a dedicated EP cardiologist will cover weekdays.

Credentialing & Qualifications
