Work Environment\n

This position will primarily be carried out in a remote setting, with occasional visits to local schools as needed. You will work closely with educators, counselors, and healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to student wellness. Our virtual platform supports seamless communication and electronic documentation, ensuring efficiency and organization in your practice.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, age-and-culturally appropriate biopsychosocial assessments to identify mental health, substance abuse, and medical needs within the school-based setting.

• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions, facilitating a safe and supportive atmosphere for clients to explore their challenges and goals.
\n
• Document all client interactions, including progress notes, evaluations, and treatment plans, using our secure electronic health records system.
\n
• Perform suicide risk assessments, utilizing evidence-based protocols to ensure the immediate safety of clients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services and collaborate with educational staff to create tailored treatment plans that support students in overcoming obstacles to learning.
\n
• Act as a liaison between clients, families, school administrators, and community agencies, offering resources and referrals for additional support services.
\n
• Partner with Quality Improvement teams to develop data collection processes that enhance service delivery and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with students and their families, addressing a wide range of emotional and behavioral health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with ongoing licensure requirements met.

• Minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating proficiency in social work practices and approaches.

• Strong knowledge of counseling techniques, crisis intervention strategies, and the ability to exercise independent judgment in clinical decision-making.

• Familiarity with electronic health records systems to maintain accurate and timely client documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of experience working in mental health or clinical settings, preferably in educational environments.

• Demonstrated experience in group facilitation, including leading workshops or training sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
