Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to formulate treatment plans.
\n
• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions through telehealth and, when necessary, in-person meetings.
\n
• Utilize therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and EMDR to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client sessions in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Engage in regular supervision and consultation with the clinical team to enhance therapeutic practices and client outcomes.
\n
• Build rapport with clients by creating a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment, being attentive to their unique cultural and individual needs.
\n
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. You will address a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your ability to provide bilingual services in Spanish and English will enhance the accessibility of mental health support for our community members.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited graduate program.
\n
• Current and active LMFT license in the state of Pennsylvania with no restrictions.
\n
• Proficiency in both written and spoken Spanish and English, with strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients.
\n
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating expertise in working with diverse populations.
\n
• Understanding and respect for various cultural backgrounds, customs, and family dynamics.
\n
• Training and experience in therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to CBT, TF-CBT, and EMDR.
\n
• Ability to manage electronic health records efficiently, alongside familiarity with Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
\n
• A willingness to provide services as an in-network provider for at least one insurance panel.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and car insurance in order to attend occasional in-person sessions or community outreach programs.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.

• Experience in leading group therapy sessions and workshops.
\n
• Previous involvement in community mental health initiatives or outreach programs.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Sunny Valley Psychotherapy Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus for new hires.
