Full-Time Physical Therapist - Summer School and New School Year

Job Description Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a full-time contract position in Calabasas, CA. This school-based role encompasses the summer school program and extends into the new school year, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development and well‑being of special education students and their families. To be considered, candidates must meet all requirements set by local and state regulations, with a strong preference for experience working with special education students and families. Requirements Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California. Previous experience working with special education students and their families preferred. Familiarity with local and state regulations governing school-based physical therapy services. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. Dedication to providing comprehensive care and support to students. Job Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' physical therapy needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' goals and objectives. Deliver direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to ensure holistic support for students. Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. Provide consultation and guidance to teachers and staff regarding students' physical therapy needs. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services provided and student progress. Participate actively in meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities as required.
