Senior Manager and Pharmacist-in-Charge

Cencora seeks a Senior Manager and Pharmacist-in-Charge to oversee daily operations of a pharmacy specializing in high-cost advanced therapies. The role combines regulatory compliance oversight, clinical leadership, and financial management while ensuring safe, efficient, patient-centered services in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations including intake, review, verification, and dispensing of advanced therapies
- Serve as designated Pharmacist-in-Charge and maintain accountability for regulatory compliance and licensure
- Develop, implement, and enforce operational and clinical policies to ensure safe and efficient workflow
- Monitor workflow metrics, prescription volumes, staffing coverage, and quality measures against operational goals
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, compliance, reimbursement, and quality teams to resolve issues and support service continuity
Requirements
- Pharmacist licensure and current pharmacy license
- Eligibility to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge in applicable state
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations and DEA requirements
- Leadership experience managing pharmacy operations and staff
- Experience with high-cost or specialty pharmacy operations preferred
- Compliance and regulatory oversight experience in healthcare settings
