Overview System Integrations is seeking to add an enthusiastic member to our Project Management team. The Project Manager position is an advanced position within the infrastructure division. The main function of the Project Manager is to oversee day‑to‑day operations of projects and teams assigned to projects. The Project Manager works closely with the infrastructure team, clients, contractors, and sub‑contractors to install and maintain communications circuits in new and existing facilities. This position serves as a member of the design team for development of project process plans. The Project Manager is responsible for maintaining profitability on large and small projects for which they have been assigned. What we do We provide customers with innovative security solutions for their properties, buildings and campuses utilizing access control technologies, video surveillance, and other security solutions. Responsibilities Update clients and contractors daily on assigned projects. Verify installations to specifications, codes, and regulations. Verify correct job reporting from their assigned Project Leaders. Address design concerns or installation problems with the design team. Maintain company assets (vehicles/tools) for assigned teams and projects. Enforce company policies and procedures daily for assigned teams. Maintain profit goals for assigned projects. Verify and catalog accurate test results and as‑built documentation. Perform other related duties as assigned. Prepare weekly progress reports for clients and contractors. Prepare weekly progress reports for the Operations and Division Managers. Perform weekly site visits to all active projects that are being managed by the project manager. Site visits consist of install reviews, team meetings, customer and/or general contractor meetings. Project manager is accountable for the projects overall performance, timeline, resources and the project’s profitability. Accountable to properly schedule plan and prepare material orders for all projects that are being managed by them. Position Requirements Physical Requirements Physical demands described are representative of those that must be met for essential functions. Work can be sedentary or active. Employee may sit comfortably; may walk, stand, bend, carry moderate items such as papers, books, small parts, hardware, equipment. Must be comfortable driving a vehicle; driving an automobile is 30‑50% of the job. Regularly required to use hands, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must have the ability to communicate clearly. BICSI Technician training and certification is a plus. Ability to correctly read architectural and technology drawings. Knowledge of industry codes and standards. Knowledge of construction process. Ability to lead and manage multiple team members. Ability to effectively schedule multiple teams against multiple projects. Must have 5 years work experience in cabling or similar industry. Must have 2 years project leader/manager experience or equivalent. Must have a high school diploma and a 2‑year associate’s degree in a technical field OR equivalent work experience. Must be able to pass a drug screen. Must be licensed with the State of TN Alarm Contractors Board.
