Make a meaningful impact supporting students in grades 5-12 within a welcoming school setting near Boston, MA. As a Physical Therapist on a contract basis, you’ll provide specialized care to a small, focused caseload—about three students—at a single site. This position offers a consistent schedule of three hours per day, totaling fifteen hours per week, making it ideal for professionals seeking flexibility and work-life balance. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 13th.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with active credentials in Massachusetts
• Prior experience supporting school-aged children, ideally in grades 5-12
• Strong understanding of school-based therapy practices and IEP processes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and students
• Ability to design and implement effective therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
• Familiarity with documentation and progress tracking in educational settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans for students with diverse needs
• Provide direct therapy services within the school environment
• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure holistic care and maximize student participation in academic and extracurricular activities
• Offer recommendations for adaptive equipment or modifications to foster students’ success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to the educational team
