The unit consists of 19 rooms dedicated to women's and infant's health. The nurse will be responsible for the care of patients during labor and delivery. Nurses will need to float within the Women's and Infant's unit as required. A minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery is necessary. Previous travel experience is preferred but not mandatory. The role requires certifications in AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate. On-call requirements are to be determined based on the unit's needs. Nurses will work with patient ratios of 1:2 on both day and night shifts. Flexibility in scheduling is expected with various shifts throughout the week. Ten days off are allowed, but specific blackout periods apply. Travelers may need to float within the metro region based on facility needs. Completion of all facility-specific modules is required within the first week of the assignment. This position also includes participation in weekend coverage as per unit needs.
