Contracts Coordinator

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Contracts Coordinator for a leading professional consulting organization. This is a remote, full-time temporary opportunity open to candidates across the U.S., with a preference for those located near Houston, Texas.

POSITION OVERVIEW:


Scion Staffing is seeking a highly organized Contracts Coordinator to support an in-house legal team with a high-volume contract administration and document management initiative. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented legal support professional who enjoys organizing contract records, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with internal stakeholders. This assignment is anticipated to continue through December 2026, with the potential for extension based on business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review commercial contracts, NDAs, amendments, and related documents for completeness and accuracy
• Organize, maintain, and update contract files, legal records, and supporting documentation
• Track contract approvals, renewals, deadlines, and lifecycle milestones within contract management systems
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather information and support contract processing
• Assist with contract cleanup, data standardization, and legal operations projects
• Provide administrative support to the legal department while ensuring confidential records remain accurate and organized

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience supporting contract administration, legal operations, or an in-house legal department
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and document management abilities
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage confidential information
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and document management software; experience with CLM platforms such as Ironclad is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

• $25-$30 per hour
• Fully remote work environment
• Temporary assignment expected through December 2026 with the possibility of extension based on business needs
