As for education, Fyzical provides certifications in balance and vestibular therapy as well as orthopedics and pelvic health. Studies can be done virtually, in person or through our unique Fyzical College. The ideal candidate would have an interest in treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction as this is one of our largest demands currently. Our clinic hours can be flexible but currently is 8am -5 pm Monday through Thursday and 8 am- 2 PM on Fridays. Friday afternoons and weekends are closed which makes for a great schedule. Your Responsibilities · Perform new-patient evaluations/exams Diagnose patients; evaluate physical activity limitations Create a plan that sets a goal and completion date Equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises ; track progress Provide education to patients on techniques for the continuation of care Examine and evaluate new patients Establish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activity Establish a plan goal and time frame Prescribe intervention techniques and exercises Measure and track intervention effectiveness Educate the patient on continuing care Your Required Skills, Education, Licensure Accredited PT program graduate Up-to-date state PT license Able to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plans Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment Graduation from an accredited PT program and current PT license in TX Must be able to carry out and progress a skilled treatment plan Must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn Passion for working with pelvic health (does not have to be 100% pelvic health can have mixture of other dx including neuro/balance/vestibular and ortho). Prefer at least one year working in outpatient therapy, pelvic health experience is not required but desire to be trained must be present Compensation: Based on experience $75,000 for full time + paid vacation + paid holidays+ 401K matching
