Reporting to the Business Development Director for Growth, this role is responsible for executing key business processes that drive long-term growth initiatives across RBC’s aerospace product lines.The Associate Product Manager will play a critical role in new product development, market expansion, customer growth strategies, and acquisition evaluations. This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills who can effectively collaborate across engineering, sales, and operations.Key Responsibilities:Support strategic initiatives across RBC Aerospace product lines to achieve year-over-year sales and profitability growthAssist in the development, communication, and execution of division growth strategiesContribute to the creation and ongoing management of a 5-year growth planCoordinate and manage project review processes tied to growth initiatives, including tracking progress, documenting activity, and defining next stepsParticipate in the development and launch of new products, product line extensions, and market differentiation strategiesManage elements of the new product introduction (NPI) process aligned with growth objectivesServe as a liaison between customers and internal teams including sales, engineering, and manufacturingMaintain and report key metrics associated with long-term growth plans, including project status updates and opportunity trackingEvaluate and optimize the customer base through strategic expansion or rationalizationBuild and maintain strong customer relationships to support long-term business developmentAssist in prioritizing projects to align with revenue and margin goalsPerform additional duties as assignedRegular, reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related technical field requiredPrior experience in technical sales, product management, or engineering preferredStrong mechanical aptitude; experience with bearings or aerospace components is a plusDemonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authorityStrong analytical and strategic thinking skills, including experience with pricing strategies and market segmentationExcellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholdersProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AS400 and/or ASI systems is a plusProven ability to operate in a results-driven environment with a focus on achieving measurable outcomesSelf-starter with strong organizational and project management skillsEqual Opportunity EmployerRBC Bearings is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.QualificationsEDUCATIONBachelors or better in Business Administration or related fieldEXPERIENCE2 - 5 years: Business DevelopmentJob SummaryRequisition Number: ASSOC006386Job Category: Manager/SupervisorSchedule: Full-Time
