WLA - PT Hourly School Bus Driver

Position Title: WLA PT Hourly School Bus Driver Position Location: Westlake Lutheran Academy (Richmond, TX) Reports To: Campus Principal and Athletic Director Position Purpose: To provide safe transport for school children based on schedule and route. Responsibilities Driving for field trips and sporting events Planning around traffic during trips Communicate professionally with students Greet parents and students with salutations and smiles Helping students on and off the bus/van as needed Conduct oneself in a professional, ethical, and Christ-like way Interacts with children and serves as their trusted transportation to and from school events Obey all traffic laws Maintain a clean, safe, and mechanically sound bus/van at all times Ensure the safety of all students Perform inspections of the bus/van before and after each route Qualifications Must be over the age of 25 Superb driving record Subject to background checks and drug testing MUST have a valid CDL Driver’s License with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements Should be free of any traffic or criminal violations and should have an authoritative yet calming demeanor with a strong understanding of all traffic laws Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Westlake Lutheran Academy is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
