Controls Maintenance Technician

Title: Controls Maintenance Technician II
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Schedule: 2x2x3 Night Shift | 5:30 PM 6:00 AM
Type: Contract-to-Hire | 3 6 months
We are seeking a Controls Maintenance Technician II to maintain and troubleshoot high-speed food and beverage manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.

Diagnose PLC/controls and production equipment issues.

Manage maintenance work orders through a CMMS.

Support equipment reliability, uptime, safety, and production goals.

Assist with maintenance projects and technician training.

Requirements:

2-year degree or technical certification in Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.

Degree/certification must be verified.

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

Strong electrical, PLC, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.

High-speed manufacturing experience preferred.

Food/beverage or CPG manufacturing experience is a plus.

Must be able to work a 12-hour 2x2x3 night shift.

Contract-to-Hire: Potential full-time conversion after 3 6 months based on performance and business need.
