Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across various grade levels. ProCare Therapy is seeking a Occupational Therapist for a school-based, contracted position near Edgemoor, DE for the 26/27 school semester. This assignment runs from August 25, 2026, through June 8, 2027, and offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in children's lives. With three openings available, you'll work in either elementary or secondary school settings, helping students gain valuable skills for academic and daily living success.
Qualifications:
- Active Delaware Occupational Therapist license
- Experience in school-based OT preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently across diverse caseloads
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to support student needs
- Assess, document, and report on student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Travel between designated sites as needed for split assignments
- Engage in IEP team meetings and contribute to program planning
- Maintain compliance with district and state regulations
