Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Neuro, Ortho, Peds)

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care on a Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics unit serving patients of all ages (28 days and older)
• Manage and monitor patients with trauma presentations and post-operative Orthopedic and Neurological conditions
• Deliver age-appropriate care within a general Pediatric unit environment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using facility EHR systems
• Float to other inpatient units as needed to support staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of adult Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work night shifts including every 3rd weekend (3 weekends per 6-week cycle)
• Must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of Pediatric nursing experience
• Current PALS certification
• Familiarity with Paragon or Cerner EHR platforms
