Job Summary: As a Host, you will provide a warm, friendly, and immediate greeting to guests at the door, as well as those calling the restaurant. If you are a proactive team player with a strong work ethic, are detail-oriented, and have a passion for hospitality, we want to hear from you! Duties and Responsibilities Include: Greeting guests as they enter, and putting them on a waiting list as necessary Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions Seating guests at tables and assigning them to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers Engaging with guests to ensure they’re happy with food and service Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Current California Food Handler’s and RBS certification required. Must be able to lift and carry items up to 15 pounds, such as menus, reservation books, and small cleaning supplies. Manual dexterity required for managing a reservation system, handling menus, and occasionally assisting with table resets. Ability to move efficiently in a fast-paced environment and navigate crowded dining areas. Work may involve exposure to moderate noise levels and varying temperatures.
