- # RN Observation Unit FT NightsApplylocations: New Albany, INtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R26102951**Summary**every 4th weekend requirement**Job Description:****Seeking Registered Nurse!****Baptist Health Floyd, Emergency Department Observation Unit Full-time (36 Hours Weekly), Nights (7pm-7am)****Benefit Eligible****$$ Up to $25,000 Sign On Bonus Eligible for Experienced External Applicants Only! $$****Job Duties:**In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.**About the Unit:**The Observation Unit is a 29-bed unit affiliated with the Emergency Department and observes patients who are expected to be in the hospital less than 24 hours. Nurses in this unit care for a variety of patients including chest pain, cardiac arrhythmias, heart catheterizations, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, UTIs, and DVTs. The unit is staffed with a provider between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM each day of the week to provide support and high-level care. New Graduate RNs welcome.**Qualifications:**Current Indiana or compact state RN license required.BLS for healthcare provider required.ACLS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 12 months of hire).**Baptist Health Floyd is a Pathway to Excellence designated organization.**We offer competitive salaries and excellent benefits.
