Job Description: The CNC Machine Operator, 2nd Shift is responsible for machining parts utilizing Haas CNC mills.

Job Details:

• 2:00 pm - 2:00 am Monday-Wednesday. Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours
• Starting pay $18.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience
• Onsite in Halfmoon, NY

Job Responsibilities:

• Creates parts and follows procedures and instructions to meet customer expectations.
• Reads and interprets mechanical schematics to ensure accuracy.
• Sets up tooling equipment, loads parts, reviews programming steps, and ensures adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Responsible for performing first piece inspections on machined parts.
• Maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
• Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometers or vernier calipers.
• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
• Maintain a clean and neat work area.

• Prior experience operating HAAS mills and/or lathes, preferred.
• Associates Degree in industrial applications or machining, preferred.
