Physician - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Provide emergency medicine coverage in an emergency department setting
• Schedule covers 7 days a week with shifts running 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Average of 36 patient encounters per day
• Average of 3 admissions per day
• Both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
• 11 beds in the emergency department
• Support staff includes emergency department RNs and 1 APP
• Charting via Meditech EMR system
• Level 3 trauma facility with 24-hour availability of anesthesia, general surgery, laboratory, orthopedic surgery, radiology, and OR response
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine is required
• Facility has an active Labor and Delivery department
