RN Unit Manager Job Summary: Onyx Care of Ruston is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our Unit Manager. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and support. Responsibilities: Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants Meet with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the shift's services, programs, and activities Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of the shift as required Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel and other departments within the facility Qualifications: Current Louisiana Nursing License (Required) Current CPR certification (Preferred) Benefits: Competitive wage Affordable medical, dental, and vision benefits Free life insurance Paid vacation/sick time Personal days Employee referral bonus Tuition reimbursement Meaningful and rewarding work environment Plus much more, inquire with us today!
