Principal Analyst, ERPPOSITION PROFILEAs a Principal Analyst, you will scope and lead large projects, working closely with the architecture and development teams to deliver solutions that enable our Sales and Enterprise Service Delivery teams to continue growing and evolving Ricoh's business. You will work under the general direction of a Director or Senior Technology Manager, providing expertise and technical guidance that is backed up by an in-depth cross functional understanding of the applications and/or architecture.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· Leads functional analysis, gap identification and requirements definition for large sized projects in the assigned function.· Provides in depth functional/application expertise within the assigned function including conducting in depth quality reviews on design and testing.· Provides in depth cross functional expertise around the assigned function.· Recommends / suggests alternatives on solutions to business challenges.· Partners with functional business leaders to understand the business strategy and challenges, define business requirements and implement new business processes.· Communicates and coordinates with other team leads, business leadership, and Project Manager to ensure appropriate integration of processes and modules across the enterprise.· Leads and executes projects and initiatives in full compliance with defined processes and controls.· Oversees, defines and monitors critical path activities and resolves issues or escalates issues to the Project Manager as needed.· Drives the design and implementation of new business processes with organizational structure and required system configuration.· Stays abreast of the latest tools / applications / techniques in the assigned area.· Proactively recommends alternatives, approaches to business problems in the assigned area, consults on technology challenges, system issues and implementing cross functional solutions.· Participates in the decision making process around technology strategy, conducts analysis on technical viability of solutions and provides guidance on delivery of complex projects.· Performs other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)Typically Required:· Bachelors or Masters Degree in Information technology or related field.· Minimum of 9 years of experience in Information Technology.· Minimum of 7 years experience with gathering requirements and documentation.· Minimum of 7 years experience with testing and defect management.· Minimum of 5 years experience leading complex IT projects· Experience managing large to medium size projects that span the company enterprise, defining milestone dates and managing delivery.· Experience managing multiple large projects simultaneously.· Proven ability to coordinate and drive cross-functional discussions as necessary.· Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with various senior level stakeholders.· Working knowledge of ERP technologies (preferably Oracle eBusiness suite) and Sales solutions such as SFA and CRM.· Hands on experience gathering requirements, driving design, and owning solutions from end to end.· Should be familiar with Sales, Order to Cash lifecycle.· Experience negotiating competing or conflicting business requests.· PMP certification is plus.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES· Possesses ability to interpret business needs and translate them to create complex solutions.· Conducts research around best practices and has ability to adequately document created solutions.· Possesses ability to effectively communicate with people at multiple levels. Requires excellent negotiation skills.· Possesses facilitation skills including ability to organize, conduct and document effective meetings.· Possesses ability to clearly communicate technical and procedural information verbally and in written documentation form.· Possesses ability to recognize conflict situations and resolve many; escalates those that cannot be resolved.· Possesses ability to determine resolution for routine and non-routine issues; recognizes issues for escalation.· Possesses very good customer service and interpersonal skills; is motivated and team oriented.· Possesses ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects, is organized and dependable.· Possesses ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.· Possesses ability to create, modify and execute complex project plans and participate in plan implementation with little direction.· Strategic thinker with courage to challenge requests and inspire collaboration for more innovative solutions.· Strong delegation skills, and quick decision making.WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS· Typically, an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level.· Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend and apply complex material, data and instruction · prepare, provide and convey diversified information.· Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically with less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.).
