The Opportunity Executive Search Consultant – Delivery | New York | Competitive Base + Bonus This is a high-visibility, delivery-focused role built for someone who wants real ownership of the search process - from mapping the market through to offer - without years of hierarchy standing between them and the client relationship. You'll be working directly alongside a senior partner who came into the business with zero prior search experience and built their way to seven-figure billings, and you'll be on the same track. What You'll Actually Be Doing Own delivery across live retained searches - market mapping, candidate identification, outreach, and presentation Work directly with senior leadership on every search, with full visibility of the client relationship from day one Be part of client update calls from the outset, building toward leading them as you grow into the role Focus on high-impact, VP/Director/C-suite level searches across medical technology, manufacturing, and innovation-led industries Build toward a genuine path into business development — no fixed timeline, driven by readiness, not tenure Work in a flat, two-person-per-search model with direct access to leadership and zero unnecessary layers Who You Are You've got somewhere between 18+ months and 6-7 years of experience in retained search (senior level contingency experience also considered), and ideally a background touching technical, manufacturing, or scientific industries.
