We provide commercial strategy, market access, and health economic/value communication consulting services to MedTech (including diagnostics) companies, ranging from start-up to leading multinational organizations. We present an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate, Evidence and Value to join our consulting team. This role requires ~ 2 years of prior, relevant consulting experience in health economics and reimbursement / market access. • 60% of the time performing systematic literature reviews (SLRs), writing value dossiers and other value communication tools, performing quantitative analysis, including health economic modeling, survey data and medical claims/EMR data
• 40% of time performing desk and primary market research to understand stakeholder evidence requirements and developing reimbursement and market access strategies

The ideal candidate has some prior consulting experience performing SLRs, writing value communication tools, and performing desk and primary research. The Senior Associate, Evidence and Value will play an integral role in delivering strategic insights through rigorous research and analysis, and gain exposure to US and OUS markets. You will work collaboratively in a team environment under the direction of client and project managers and will be given frequent opportunities to work independently and participate in project delivery and business development. This full-time position is based in the Boston area and requires little travel. Work independently and as part of a project team, under the direction of a senior leader and, as applicable, with responsibility for supervising junior team members and begin to lead/manage small engagements; Participate in the design and development of research instruments, tools, project plans, and deliverables; Contribute to and support delivery of a variety of health economics and value communication engagements, including 1) review and analyze payer / HTA positions, clinical guidelines and treatment pathways, published literature (including performing SLRs and TLRs), to identify key evidence and evidence gaps; 2) analyze/ evaluate claims and survey data; 3) support development and validation of health economic models (budget impact, cost-effectiveness, etc.), including interaction with clinicians to validate and publish results; 4) support design, execution and analysis of a variety of study designs based on Real-World Evidence (surveys, observational studies, medical resource utilization in studies, etc.); 5) contribute to manuscript development for peer‑reviewed publications and conference presentations; and 6) substantively contribute to preparation of global value dossiers that present the evidence‑based value on innovative technologies to payers, HTAs and purchasers; Contribute to and support delivery of a variety of evidence development and market access strategy engagements, including 1) conduct secondary research on MedTech reimbursement and market access, market landscape, and health economics dynamics. This can include but not be limited to reviewing payer / HTA positions, clinical guidelines and treatment pathways, published literature, clinical evidence base, market size and trends, claims analyses, analogs/competitors, coding, and payment, etc.and 2) participate in the planning, execution, analysis, and validation of qualitative and quantitative primary research with payers, physicians, and other industry stakeholders; Communicate and partner with colleagues and external collaborators based in Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific to meet client project objectives; Develop initial findings and recommendations for client reports and presentations; Contribute to /participate in development of internal learning, staff training and development, and recruiting activities; Assist development and writing of proposals and other business development activities; Communicate data and research findings internally to support development of strategies that are communicated through delivery of client reports and presentations. Qualifications BA/BS, MS, PhD in life sciences, economics/health economics, epidemiology/public health, or related discipline; ~2 years’ consulting experience, with a preference for some exposure to both health economics and market access; Ability to aggregate, synthesize and validate research findings obtained from multiple sources; Experience preparing and delivering final deliverables related to SLRs/TLRs, evidence gap assessments, health economic models, value dossiers, and publications and/or health economics services offered at BeaconOne; Experience preparing primary market research tools, including discussion guides, stimuli, and screeners, and conducting interviews; Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with internal team and external partners.
