Registered Nurse - Med Surg/Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts). Call requirements: None. Weekends: 4 shifts per schedule.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Neuro medical/surgical unit specializing in Med Surg/Telemetry. This role requires providing high-quality nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care and medications following established protocols.
• Monitor and document patient vitals and conditions effectively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Perform wound care, gastric decompression, and EEGs as required.
• Implement stroke care and NIH protocols when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license (required).
• BLS certification (required).
• IV certification for LVNs (preferred).
• ACLS certification preferred or considered as a plus.
