Position:

Backfill - Seasonal - Contract - RN - Level 3-4 NICU

Contract Length:

13 Weeks

Shift:

7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Location:

North Austin, TX

Unit Profile:

The NICU department provides specialized care for critically ill neonates. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 97
• Number of Staff: 200
• Staff Composition:
  
  
  • Day Shift: Primarily RNs, 1 Clerk (Example: 1 Charge Nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 Sitters)
  • Night Shift: Primarily RNs, 1 Clerk
• Patient Ratios: 3-4 patients per RN
• Type of Equipment: Medfusion pumps, Alaris, Giraffe Isolette, GE Monitors
• EMR: CPN, Meditech

Hiring Profile:

• Skill Set: Most recruited for Travel RNs, local CNAs, and Sitters
• Must Have: Minimum of 2 years Level 3 NICU experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with specialized skills and experience will be prioritized.
• Typical Procedures: Experience with high-acuity neonatal patients.
