Qualifications:
- Current and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in an Operating Room setting
- Proficiency with a variety of surgical procedures and OR technology
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
- Adaptable, quick to learn new protocols and systems
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care for a diverse caseload
- Prepare OR environments, ensuring all necessary instruments, equipment, and medications are ready
- Circulate and scrub as required for a variety of surgical specialties
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to uphold best practices in patient safety
- Monitor and document patient status before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain strict compliance with infection control measures and hospital policies
