Description The Assistant Manager at our convenience store plays a pivotal role in supporting the Store Manager while leading Store Associates and Shift Leaders. This position offers growth and advancement opportunities for individuals who consistently exceed expectations and uphold company standards. Responsibilities Be an excellent team leader, with interest in becoming a future Assistant Manager and Store Manager. Train, guide, and encourage the store team to adhere to policies and maintain our high standards Provide supervision of the store, assign tasks, reinforce procedures, correct behaviors, and ensure productivity, courtesy, cleanliness, and safety Keep the premises looking great, attend to customer and employee concerns, and control theft Execute store promotions and on-site advertising, survey competitors’ pricing, and report daily sales and operations Ensure that the building and equipment are maintained, and inspect and test store systems, equipment and premises Assist with other functions such as car wash, gaming rooms, and drive throughs if applicable Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Must consent to and clear a pre-employment background check Must possess an active valid driver's license with access to a registered, insured vehicle Benefits Engaging bonus and recognition programs Weekly Pay Premium pay for overnight & holiday shifts Complimentary coffee & soda on shift Paid sick and vacation days 401k Retirement Savings Plan Health and other benefit plans available (Life, Medical, Accident, Short-Term Disability, Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness, and more) Tuition Reimbursement Referral and Training bonuses #J-18808-Ljbffr MotoMart
