The role focuses on essential nursing tasks such as g-tube feeding, monitoring for signs of seizure activity, and mobility assistance, ensuring the student's health and safety during transportation. TheJob Details:Schedule:full timeDates:ASAP-5/21/27Monday-Friday; Anywhere from 7.5 hours - 8,5 hours per day. Weekly could reach up to 42.5 hours/weekCaseload: You would cover locations as needed and could possibly care for 1:1 needs, which would include riding the bus if needed.In-personKey Responsibilities:They are trained to provide care for all students, including students who have a 1:1 nurse. This care includes g-tube, trach suctioning/care, oral suctioning, ventilator management, ostomy care, straight cath, seizure management.Float nurses are also trained to provide care and management in all school nurse clinics.
