Baumann Springs USA is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager, to lead customer and new-product projects from initial inquiry, through technical development, equipment and process selection, industrialization, validation, production launch, serial production, and eventual product phase out.

This role is responsible for coordinating the technical, operational, commercial, and customer-facing activities required to successfully move projects from concept into production. The Project Manager partners closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Production, Sales/KAM, and customers to ensure projects meet defined scope, timing, quality, cost, capacity, and production-readiness expectations.

The Project Manager is responsible for scope, timing cost, technical readiness, resource coordination, risk mitigation, and successful transfer into production. The ideal candidate has direct experience managing complex projects within a manufacturing environment, preferably medical device, precision manufacturing, automotive, or another highly regulated industry.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

·Lead assigned customer and manufacturing projects from initial inquiry through development, industrialization, production launch, serial production, and phase-out.

· Establish project scope, objectives, milestone, deliverables timelines, responsibilities, and resource requirements.

· Partner with customers to understand technical, commercial, quality, regulatory, and timing requirements.

· Coordinate cross functional project teams involving Engineering, Quality, Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Sales, and other internal stakeholders.

· Serve as primary project contact for customers in partnership with Sales/KAM.

· Coordinate engineering and technical workstreams associated with assigned projects.

· Support equipment selection, manufacturing process development, qualification, validation, and production readiness activities.

· Monitor project timing, milestones, risks, costs, resources, and deliverables.

· Escalate project concerns, delays, resource constraints, or technical challenges when appropriate.

· Other duties as needed or required

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Science, or related technical discipline preferred. .)

· 5+ years of project management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

· PMP Certification preferred

· ISO13485 experience preferred

· Demonstrated experience managing projects involving new product introduction, industrialization, production launch, equipment implementation, process development, or manufacturing transfer.

· Experience with Phase Gate or similar structured product development/industrialization processes preferred.

· Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and priorities

· Working knowledge of equipment selection, qualification and validation procedures, manufacturing capacity planning, cost estimation, risk management, and production readiness.

· Must be proficient in English

· Self-driven; Confident; Team Player

· Strong customer facing communication and ability to manage technical and commercial expectations.

· Medical industry manufacturing; Spring manufacturing knowledge; Spring design capability preferred.
