Sr. Boomi Developer

Overview Mandatory : 7+ years of experience must be in Boomi development, Boomi AtomSphere, Java and Boomi Molecule deployments. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Boomi Developer with extensive hands-on experience in Boomi AtomSphere and Boomi Molecule deployments to support complex integration initiatives across ERP, CRM, HCM, and internal enterprise platforms. This contractor must be capable of independently designing, building, and optimizing integrations with minimal direction—able to research solutions, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate effectively with partner teams when requirements are incomplete or evolving. The ideal candidate will bring 7–10+ years of enterprise integration experience , deep technical expertise in Boomi, and strong problem-solving skills to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure integrations in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Key requirements : 7–10+ years of overall enterprise integration experience; 7+ years of hands-on Boomi development experience; proven experience working with Boomi AtomSphere and Boomi Molecule environments. Core Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy Boomi integrations across multiple platforms and systems Build and maintain API-based, event-driven, and batch integrations Develop complex data mappings and transformations (XML/JSON/Flat Files) Implement robust error handling, logging, and alerting frameworks Optimize existing integrations for performance, scalability, and reliability Troubleshoot and resolve production integration issues Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to refine requirements Support CI/CD automation and release management processes Follow integration governance standards and best practices Contribute to the modernization and improvement of the overall integration ecosystem Required Qualifications Experience 7 -10+ years of overall enterprise integration experience 7+ years of hands-on Boomi development experience Proven experience working with Boomi AtomSphere and Boomi Molecule environments Strong background in enterprise system integrations (ERP, CRM, HCM, Finance, etc.) Technical Skills – Must Have Boomi Platform Expertise Deep hands-on experience with: Boomi Atom and Boomi Molecule architecture Multi-environment setups (Dev / QA / Prod) API Management and API exposure using Boomi Listener processes and real-time integrations Process deployment, versioning, and promotion strategies Reusable components, common frameworks, and Boomi best practices Scripting Skills (Critical Requirement) Strong hands-on expertise in Groovy and/or JavaScript scripting within Boomi processes Ability to implement complex custom logic using scripts Experience with: Custom data validation Advanced transformations Dynamic document handling Error processing and logging frameworks Integration & API Skills REST and SOAP APIs Web Services Server processes Authentication methods (OAuth, Basic Auth, API Keys) SFTP, AS2, and message-based integrations Event-driven and batch integration patterns Data & Database Skills SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.) JDBC connector configurations Stored procedure integrations XML, JSON, CSV, and flat file processing Large data set handling and performance tuning Infrastructure & Security On-prem connectivity and network configurations Firewall rules and secure communication SSL/TLS certificates and configurations Secure API design and integration security standards Operational & Delivery Skills Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Experience monitoring and supporting production integrations Ability to analyze logs and diagnose complex issues Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments Understanding of observability, monitoring, and alerting practices Ability to document technical designs and integration flows Soft Skills & Work Style Self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders Comfortable operating in fast-paced enterprise environments Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset Nice to Have Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms Integration testing automation DevOps tools and pipelines Performance monitoring tools API gateways and enterprise security tools Enterprise platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, Databricks, etc. Position Summary This role will work closely with our integration team to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure integrations, while adhering to engineering best practices and contributing to the continuous modernization of our integration landscape.
