Employment Specialist • Full-time position with Express Employment Professionals

• Pay: approximately $17 – $20/hour (may vary by office/experience)

• Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, and placing candidates into jobs.

• High School Diploma or GED (minimum requirement).

• Customer service experience (usually 2+ years preferred).

• Professional communication skills — strong verbal and written abilities.

• Computer proficiency — comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and navigating systems.

• Organizational skills — able to multitask, manage time, and keep accurate documentation.

• Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Prior recruiting or staffing experience — helpful but not always required.

• Bilingual ability (English/Spanish) — often preferred, especially in bilingual specialist roles.

• Consistent employment history — showing reliability.

• Employment references — typically from supervisors.

• Candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing — matching job seekers to roles.

• Sales-oriented mindset — making outbound calls to identify business opportunities and fill job orders.

• Client relationship building — understanding employer needs and maintaining ongoing engagement.

• Coaching/support — helping candidates prepare for assignments (attendance, appearance, expectations).

• Typically full-time, in-office Monday–Friday 8am-5pm

• Goal-driven with performance targets (calls, placements).
