Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a litigation attorney in Greenville, SC. The successful candidate will manage an active litigation caseload, handling all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation. This role involves direct client interaction and collaboration with insurance carriers. Duties Manage an active litigation caseload from assignment through resolution or trial. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs. Take and defend depositions. Attend mediations, hearings, and trials. Evaluate liability, damages, and litigation strategy. Provide timely reporting, analysis, and recommendations to clients and carriers. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in South Carolina; North Carolina licensure is a plus. At least two years of experience in insurance defense or civil litigation. Organized and dependable, with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities. Professional, responsive, and accountable in communications with clients, colleagues, and others. Committed to providing excellent client service through prompt communication and follow-through. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in South Carolina; North Carolina licensure is a plus. Skills Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
