Job Description

Seeking a Fellowship trained, BC/BE Geriatric Psychiatrist to join a growing Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine in Greenville, NC.

Highlights:

• Full-time, employed position
• The successful candidate will join a growing academic division with a full-time tenure track appointment at the rank of professor or associate professor
• Clinical assistant or clinical associate professor fixed term appointments are also available
• Provide direct clinical care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings
• Responsibilities will also include teaching and clinical supervision of medical students, residents, and other health professional trainees and clinical research
• Growing 9-hospital physician led healthcare system
• State-of-the-art Behavioral Health facility to open in the fall of 2025
• Inpatient clinical responsibilities will be for consults only on the current 50+ bed inpatient behavioral health unit
• Outpatient clinical responsibilities will include seeing patients at the outpatient clinic and the Geriatric Center
• Monday-Friday 8a – 5p schedule
• Excellent blend of clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activities
• Work with growing, multi-disciplinary, and collegial department
• Salary and academic rank (tenure track or fixed term) commensurate with experience and academic background
