Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,401–$2,565 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts (approximately 36 hours per week) Start date: August 10, 2026 Work setting: Hospital imaging department Travel assignment with SEIU representation Responsibilities Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues for diagnosis Perform a range of imaging procedures, including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy as needed Position patients, apply appropriate imaging protocols, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images Adhere to radiation safety principles (ALARA), shielding, infection control, and patient safety throughout procedures Communicate with radiologists to optimize exam protocols and assist with image interpretation or documentation as required Maintain equipment and perform basic quality control tasks; document findings and ensure proper data transfer to the PACS Requirements Active radiologic technologist license or credentials per California state requirements (CT imaging certification preferred) CT imaging certification (ARRT or equivalent) or eligibility per state guidelines Relevant CT imaging experience; hospital imaging department experience preferred Ability to perform 12-hour dayshift assignments and work in a fast-paced imaging environment Strong patient communication and teamwork skills; commitment to safety and quality Benefits and Support Dedicated support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC throughout the assignment Onboarding and credentialing assistance to facilitate a smooth start SEIU representation on the assignment Access to recruitment and scheduling support during the travel assignment About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States.
