CNC MachinistOur Arab, Alabama site is just outside Huntsville, offering access to great schools, outdoor recreation, and a low cost of living.We manufacture precision medical components used in joint, spine, and trauma procedures — work that truly makes a difference.A Brief Overview The CNC Machinist position contributes to the production of medical devices by operating multi-axis CNC machines, with the ability to identify X, Y, Z, and 0 coordinates. Responsibilities include operating multiple and varying CNC machines simultaneously, such as lathes, mills, and plunge machines. This position also offers a $3.00 per hour shift differential in addition to the $20 base hourly rate.What You Will DoThe Machinist, CNC reports directly to the area Supervisor.Performs basic machining functions to produce parts.Operates multiple machines simultaneously.Monitors the machine to ensure proper program performance.Completes shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets.Makes offsets and adjustments to machines with moderate supervision.Advocates for the health and safety of self, co-workers, customers, and the community.Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the Quality Management Systems (QMS).Completes all required training.Education QualificationsHigh School Or Equivalent (Preferred)Experience QualificationsLean Manufacturing Experience (Preferred)Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing (Preferred)1+ Years of Experience Operating Machining Equipment in a Manufacturing Environment (Preferred)Experience operating CNC Mills or Lathes independently (Required)Experience using measuring tools, (ex.
