The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Charlotte that are seeking skilled Financial Analysts. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Analyze production costs, inventory levels, and operational expenses to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting key trends and performance metrics.
• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for manufacturing operations.
• Conduct profitability analysis for new products and existing product lines to inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to improve financial visibility and control over manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis using tools like Excel and financial software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle).
• Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, and operational KPIs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for data extraction and analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to create and maintain complex financial models in Excel, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present financial insights effectively.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their impact on financial performance.
• Certification in financial modeling (e.g., AFM, CFI) or relevant industry certifications.
