Graphic Design & Research Specialist

Job Description

Commercial Properties, Inc. is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer and Researcher to provide real estate design, marketing and sales research services to our team of sales and leasing agents and property owners. The Marketing and Research team manages a large portfolio of commercial property listings, supporting agents with design work, market research, and client materials, while also maintaining CPI's online property listings and social media presence.

Specific Tasks

• Design and edit property brochures, flyers, offering memorandums, and email campaigns to ensure collateral is accurate and gives agents a competitive edge
• Create and edit floor plans and site plans
• Prepare presentation packages for property tours
• Create investor packages for property offerings, pursuits, and client presentations
• Assist with design, social media content, and press releases
• Update online property listings in various internal and external databases, and cross-check syndication of marketing files across platforms for consistent, accurate data
• Research available properties and comparables for lease and sale to support business development and pursuits
• Conduct sales and market research, including demographic data, ownership information, and prospect research, for use in pitches, proposals, and client materials
• Coordinate with team members and share the Agent's important information for press releases and planning for Social Media posts.
• Acquire and maintain a library of photography and video for CPI's people and properties
• Support consistent branding across all client-facing materials
• Use AI tools to enhance the quality, speed, and polish of design and research deliverables

Because this role blends design and research, this employee must possess both an eye for quality design and a research mindset that insists on the accuracy of all details and facts presented in marketing materials.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); this is a top priority for this role
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat
• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications
• Comfort using AI tools to support design, research, and content creation is a plus
• Sales research experience, including comfort digging into property, ownership, and market data to support a broker's pursuit of new business
• Familiarity with Buildout, CoStar/Loopnet, and CREXi online property listing services
• Proficiency with Google Earth or other mapping software is a plus
• Familiarity with database management and customer relationship management software is a plus
• Comfort with social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
• Experience with photography and video production, and a willingness to learn video editing software, is a plus

Experience

Prior experience supporting a team in a commercial real estate environment is strongly preferred. Ideally, candidates will bring both strong design skills and some sales or market research background. xhyhwjd Experience with database management, data entry, photography, or video editing is a plus, as is general knowledge of commercial buildings, real estate marketing, real estate research, ad or brochure design, and public relations.
