Come be part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location: Plymouth, MN – Hybrid – In office 3 days per weekYour Responsibilities:Act as Human Resources Business Partner the Digital and Corporate Development & Strategy teamsIdentify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliancePartners with Talent Acquisition team to support the hiring life cycle, including interviewing candidates, to fill open rolesProvides advisement to management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues and ensures adherence to various state and federal regulationsRespond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programsProvide assistance and training to management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, performance management, EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and other government requirements.Identify employee-focused location training needs and implements training programsAdminister performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within the organizationAdminister merit, promotional, and other salary adjustments to ensure compliance and equity within the organization, as well as monitor compa-ratios within the organizationCoordinate administration of Workers' Compensation program, works closely with Safety personnel and the Workers' Compensation carrier to manage claims and actively supports location safety programPrepare budget for human resources department and monitors spending accordinglyRepresent the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigationsAnalyze collective bargaining agreement and develop interpretation of intent, spirit, and terms of contract to counsel management in development and application of labor relations policies and practicesPrepare statistical reports of types and frequency of actions taken concerning grievances, arbitration, mediation, and related labor relations activities, to identify problem areasVerify adherence to terms of labor contract by monitoring day-to-day implementation of policies concerning wages, hours, and working conditionsRepresent management in labor contract negotiations or serves as resource to negotiators by providing information on provisions of current contract and significance of proposed changesFurnish reference documents and statistical data concerning labor legislation, labor market conditions, prevailing union and management practices, wage and salary surveys, and employee benefits programs for labor contract negotiationsRequired qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience6+ years related experience and/or trainingProficient in Microsoft SuiteAbility to form strong relationships with business leadersAdaptability and problem-solving skillsPreferred qualifications:PHR or SHRM CertificationExperience supporting Human Resources and/or Legal teamsYour Benefits:Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance401K retirement plan with employer matchPaid time off and company paid holidaysPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local lawTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous serviceWork visa sponsorship is not available for this position.The annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,800 to $171,700 in Minnesota and is eligible for an annual bonus. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law. Safety-sensitive positions may require cannabis (marijuana) testing.
