Hiring Immediately! Production Associate, Wallingford, CT Pay Rate: $24.75 Shift: 3rd Shift, 11:00pm - 7:00am, Monday- Friday, Shift differential 10%. As a Production Associate you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that quality products are available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people’s lives! Primary Responsibilities Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment. Set up the production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders and operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing. Ensure that equipment is maintained in good and safe working conditions. Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions, and repairs. Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality. Help junior operators in their assigned responsibilities. Repair and clean the equipment when needed. Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements. Operate trucks and other industrial vehicles to transfer the production equipment between warehouse and working area. Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation. Qualifications Ability to lift to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
