• Weekend coverage -- Saturday and Sunday
• 24-hour shifts
• Average 11 patients per physician per day
• Rounding with 2 - 3 pediatric/ED residents
• Ventilation management, chest tube, central/arterial line insertion
• Lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, ICP evaluation, exchange transfusions
• BLS and PALS/APLS certifications required
• Must respond to in-house codes
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
