Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting PreK students in a thriving educational community. This full-time role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact, working directly onsite with young learners to foster their communication and language development. The assignment runs from ASAP through May 21, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week.

You’ll work collaboratively with school-based teams, serving either as a dedicated PreK SLP or focusing exclusively on testing responsibilities—no telepractice is involved in either position. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to each child’s success as they build foundational skills for lifelong learning.

Preferred Background and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active, unrestricted North Carolina SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• School-based SLP experience strongly preferred, especially with young children
• Familiarity with PreK caseloads and age-appropriate assessment and therapy
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and time management skills
• Ability to work onsite full-time; remote work and VOCO are not available

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and provide speech and language therapy for PreK students
• Document progress and maintain compliance with special education regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ IEP goals
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultation as needed
• Design and implement developmentally appropriate intervention strategies
