Journeman Millwright

Snelling Staffing of Canton Ohio is currently looking for Journeyman Millwright for a steel mill in Canton, OH.


Must have a Journeymans Card and passes the company Journeyman's test
second shift position 3 PM - 11 PM Mon - Fri
Pay is $32-34.64 an hour
Direct Hire Position
No Busline (must be able to provide your own transportation)


Duties:
- Set up and operate milling machines to fabricate parts according to blueprints or specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on milling machines to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished parts for quality control and make any necessary adjustments
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions of finished parts
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production processes
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating milling machines or similar equipment
- Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of machining techniques and principles
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team!
