Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: ASAP Length: 13 weeks Openings: 2 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Dept RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring TX or compact RN license, TNCC, and CPI certifications. Details Work in a 22-bed Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) Unit staffed with a mix of RNs and CNCs across day, mid, and night shifts Patient ratio of 1:4 Uses splinting equipment, defibrillators, Hamilton Vent, Welch Alyn devices, and bedside cardiac monitoring EMR is Meditech Magic, transitioning to Meditech Expanse Night shift schedule from 7p-7a over a 13-week assignment Weekend requirement is flexible, either as needed or every other weekend No on-call requirements May be required to float to Fairmont FSED if needed Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI Preferred certifications: ENPC and NRP Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required Experience performing IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedations, and splinting No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide emergency care in a fast-paced FSED setting focused on teamwork and patient experience Dress code requires royal blue scrubs, closed-toed shoes, and a stethoscope available for assessments; no false nails, air pods, or smart glasses permitted Nurses station area subject to no food or drink policy per regulatory guidelines Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered, as local candidates are not accepted These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
