Audiologist PRN – Diagnostic Vestibular Location: Vanderbilt University Medical Center Satellite Clinics Schedule: PRN (Flexible, no weekends or holidays) Vanderbilt Health is seeking a compassionate PRN Audiologist to support our outpatient diagnostic audiology and vestibular balance clinics across Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) satellite locations near Nashville, Tennessee. This role is ideal for an Audiologist who enjoys delivering high-quality diagnostic care while maintaining the flexibility of an as‑needed schedule. You will work in a collaborative academic medical center environment alongside experienced audiologists and ENT providers, supported by advanced diagnostic technology and a team that values clinical excellence and patient‑centered care. Job Summary Evaluate, treat, and counsel patients with hearing and vestibular disorders to improve communication function and postural stability under occasional guidance. Initiate collaboration with the healthcare team to meet patient care, outcomes, and system improvement objectives. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, speech testing, tympanometry, OAEs, and ABR testing. Conduct vestibular and balance assessments for patients across the lifespan. Collaborate with ENT physicians and interdisciplinary providers to support diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow‑up care. Educate and support patients and families regarding hearing health, hearing loss, balance disorders, and next steps in care. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Rehab Therapist Patient Documentation – document in appropriate templates and meet institutional quality standards. Qualifications Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master’s degree in Audiology. Current Tennessee Audiology License. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC‑A) or ABA certification required. Strong diagnostic and vestibular testing skills. Excellent communication skills and a patient‑centered approach.
