Audiologist Fellowship - Adult Hearing Aids

Job Summary Provide evaluation, treatment, and counseling for adults with hearing disorders. Work with the healthcare team to meet patient‑care goals and system‑wide improvement objectives, while supporting clinical and research activities in the Hearing Aid Laboratory. Responsibilities Perform full diagnostic hearing assessments using appropriate testing methods and equipment. Formulate and implement treatment plans to address deficits and patient/family concerns. Document patient care accurately and on time. Educate patients, families, healthcare team, and community on hearing health. Collaborate with supervisors and the clinical team to provide independent hearing‑aid services. Contribute to the Clinical Research Program, including data collection, protocol design, manuscript preparation, and scientific presentations. Assist in establishing or modifying protocols for audiologic services. Qualifications Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology. Eligibility for Tennessee licensure in audiology before hire date. Strong experience in adult hearing‑aid fitting, fitting and counseling. Prior clinical experience in a clinical setting providing audiologic services. Demonstrated research experience, ability to contribute to protocol design and manuscript writing. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary team. Benefits The position is a one‑year fellowship (July 1–June 30). Salary of $60,000 plus fringe benefits. Fellows may generate additional revenue through clinic services and receive funding for research participation and conference presentations.
