ABOUT EXER

JOB SUMMARY

The Center Manager I will assist in the supervision and execution of all daily activities of a center to ensure optimal level of operations and customer satisfaction according to Exer policies, practices and procedures.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Management Oversees and manages the assigned clinic (may assist managing another clinic on a temporary basis). Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training and mentoring teammates as appropriate. Responsible for the monthly schedule for the clinic. Approves daily punches in payroll system, identifying attendance performance issues such as unauthorized overtime or meal break violations. Handles any call‑outs and ensures the clinic is appropriately staffed at all times, working with other managers to assist as needed. Develops agenda and conducts general staff meetings and daily huddles to communicate goals, align staff and enforce compliance with all company policies and standards. Motivates and leads the team to achieve goals in a team‑oriented and positive environment. Collaborates with regional and corporate teams to operate centers effectively and efficiently. Effectively manages the budget. Follows and upholds the Employee Handbook and all other guidelines including customer service, dress code, core values, HIPAA and all other business/compliance standards. Provides exceptional and proactive customer service through active interactions and leading by example. Resolves any customer service issues in a positive and timely manner per company policies. Welcomes all patients according to our customer service standards, ensuring all touchpoints are handled appropriately. Ensures patients receive excellent customer service and that their needs are met or concerns addressed promptly. Manages the appointment or virtual queue system to maintain strong daily census and maximize capacity. Operations Manages the day‑to‑day operation of the center, filling in for employee breaks/tasks as needed and maintaining all checklist items with a focus on safety and cleanliness. Responsible for maintaining accurate EMR records for patients. Directly responsible for the appropriate and timely billing of all services. Manages supply orders and services per inventory needs; works effectively with vendors to deliver per agreement. Maintains the clinic in a clean, working condition and identifies any facility improvements and oversees all repairs or major capital improvements. Marketing Is knowledgeable about our products/programs and competitive products/programs to actively promote our clinics. Establishes external relationships and partnerships within the community, developing community events and conducting grassroots marketing efforts to raise awareness and drive traffic to clinics. JOB-RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

Patient-focused and capable of delivering a high level of customer service in a professional, courteous, sensitive and positive manner. Self‑starter with a flexible schedule and strong work ethic to manage a clinic that is open 363 days/year for 12 hours/day; willing to work some nights and weekends as needed. Ability to multi‑task and function in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities. Effective leader who motivates the team, remains calm and handles angry customers or employees appropriately. Dependable and accountable with a strong sense of urgency. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Comfortable with computers and effective at learning and using necessary software (e.g., Microsoft Suite, email, Google documents, ADP). Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA and other State and Federal requirements preferred. Experience with Codonix and VIPA computer applications preferred.

EDUCATION / CREDENTIALS

Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline or equivalent experience preferred but not required. 1–3 years successful experience in a leadership role interacting with staff, preferably in healthcare and/or retail environment.

SUPERVISION

This position supervises all clinic staff personnel (Front Desk, Medical Assistants, X‑ray Techs, and Nurses). It acts as the clinic liaison with medical providers, ops management, the training team, corporate team, and external vendors. Responsibilities include hiring, training, and mentoring employees. Company may adjust reporting structures based on business needs or growth.

WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Maintain a clean, healthful and professional appearance at all times. Center‑based: requires working in a clinical setting with moderate noise levels, potential exposure to infectious diseases and blood‑borne pathogens. Requires travel to other centers; ability to stand and sit for up to 4 hours at a time, use hands for touching, handling, reaching, bending and stooping; ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Requires access to confidential and sensitive information, requiring discretion and secure information management.
